Op ons machinepark zorgen we voor een eenmalige bewerking van basismaterialen of een doorlopende productie. Een eenmalige plaatbewerking kan interessant zijn, wanneer u bezig bent met een prototype. Zoals reeds werd aangehaald, kent plaatbewerking verschillende vormen. Edustry heeft een ruime ervaring in verschillende vormen van frezen, afbramen, knippen en lasersnijden. Denk bijvoorbeeld aan het 2D- en 3D frezen van verschillende complexe objecten. Standaard zorgt Edustry voor het ontbramen van de verschillende onderdelen. Ook worden scherpe randen na bewerking van het basismateriaal weggewerkt. Bij plaatbewerking wordt vaak meteen gedacht aan de bewerking van materialen als metaal en roestvrijstaal. Edustry helpt u ook graag bij de bewerking van andere materialen, zoals hout, gereedschapsstaal en thermoplasten.
Voordelen van CNC plaatbewerking
De keuze voor computergestuurde plaatbewerking biedt verschillende voordelen ten opzichte van de traditionele, handmatige aanpak. De kans op fouten bij de bewerking van materialen is veel kleiner, wanneer gebruik gemaakt wordt van een machine. Een lagere foutgevoeligheid biedt het bijkomende voordeel, dat er minder materialen verspild worden. Immers, er hoeven zelden materialen weggegooid te worden doordat eindproducten vrijwel altijd naar wens van de opdrachtgever worden opgeleverd. Een ander voordeel zit in de tijdsbesparing die CNC plaatbewerking u op kan leveren. Instructies voor het computergestuurd bewerken van verschillende materialen hoeven slechts eenmaal correct te worden ingevoerd in de basisprogrammatuur op de aangesloten computer. De machines worden vervolgens doorlopend aangestuurd om uw basismaterialen op de juiste wijze te bewerken.
Afwerkingen van plaatbewerking
Zoals reeds genoemd werd biedt Edustry u een standaard afwerking aan, waarbij we onderdelen ontbramen en scherpe randen wegwerken. U kunt er echter voor kiezen deze afwerking verder te verfijnen. Het verschil in type afwerking zit met name in de ruwheid van het materiaal. Indien gewenst kunnen we deze ruwheid naar beneden voor u bijstellen. Naast een lagere ruwheid biedt Edustry u de mogelijkheid om een onderdelenmarkering aan te brengen op de verschillende materialen. Voordeel hiervan is de vergrote traceerbaarheid van producten.
